Surgical Oncology (Breast Clinic) - Advanced Practice Provider
About The Position
Carle Health is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join the Breast Center Department in Urbana, Illinois. The position works in an outpatient setting with a focus on high-risk breast patients, collaborating with five medical oncologists and two breast surgeons. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Only experienced NPs/PAs will be considered; prior experience in oncology or women's health is strongly preferred. A master's degree in nursing or as a physician assistant is required, along with current Illinois registered nurse licensure and advanced practice nurse or physician assistant licensure. Carle Health has nearly 17,000 team members and providers supporting patient care across central and southeastern Illinois. It includes eight hospitals and a multispecialty provider group with more than 1,500 doctors and advanced practice providers. Carle Health offers a comprehensive benefits package. The compensation range is $60.72–$78.94 per hour; actual compensation depends on factors including experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
Requirements
- Experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant; only experienced NPs/PAs will be considered.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant.
- Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse or physician assistant licensure.
