About The Position

The Advanced Practice Provider- Medical Oncology will work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide quality care and an excellent patient experience at Gossner Cancer Center in Logan, Utah. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., arranged as four 10-hour days. There is no call and no weekend work. The provider will conduct new hematology consult appointments and follow-up appointments for patients with benign hematology diagnoses. The role also includes monitoring active chemotherapy patients, managing chemotherapy-related side effects, providing care in the Infusion Center, and rounding at the hospital as needed during clinic hours. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week. The hourly range is $57.33 to $88.47, with the actual rate dependent upon experience. Requirements

APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program.
Unrestricted license as an NP or PA in Utah, Idaho, or Wyoming, or ability to obtain one of these licenses.
Current BLS and DEA, and full prescriptive authority.
At least 1 year of NP or PA experience.
Candidates requiring visa sponsorship cannot be accepted.

Nice To Haves

NP or PA experience in oncology is preferred.
New graduate NPs may be considered if they have recent RN oncology experience and provide a cover letter.
