Convenient Care - Advanced Practice Provider
About The Position
Carle Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join its Convenient Care Departments in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. This is a full-time role in an established outpatient-only practice with no panel of primary care patients. Convenient Care is housed in a large primary care center, and providers can consult with specialists across the organization. The position has no call responsibilities. The provider rotates among three Convenient Care locations: Curtis, Windsor, and CC Plus at Main Campus. The departments are open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Scheduling is flexible, with an every-other-weekend requirement and holidays shared among the group. Carle Health is a healthcare system with nearly 17,000 team members and providers serving central and southeastern Illinois. Its organization includes eight hospitals and a multispecialty provider group with more than 1,500 doctors and advanced practice providers.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant.
- At least 2 years of experience, or at least 1 year of emergency department experience.
- Current Illinois registered nurse and advanced practice nurse or physician assistant licensure.
- ACLS and PALS certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Suturing skills.
