About The Position

Mercy Medical Center is hiring a PRN/part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for its Population Health program. The provider will support education and care management for high-risk and high-need patients through Mercy’s Care Transition Program, coordinating with Mercy Primary Care Physicians participating in state redesign programs. Requirements

• Must possess a Physician Assistant degree from an accredited school.
• Must possess a State of Maryland PA License in good standing.
• Must have CPR certification.
• Must be skilled in using various computers and software programs and be computer literate.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.
• Must be able to work independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and deal tactfully with personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
• Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and function effectively as a team member.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience as a practicing PA.
• Experience in palliative care and pain management.
