About The Position

The Advanced Practice Provider (ICP) provides medical consultation, routine patient care, and follow-up to specialty populations. This is a professional level position working under limited direction in coordination with Medical Providers. Typical work requires specialized knowledge, critical thinking, and sound judgement based upon principles of biologic, physiological, behavioral and sociological sciences skills, as well as strong customer service skills. Internal interdisciplinary and external communication skills are essential. This position requires population specific competencies. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.

Requirements

AGACNP or PA certification
Specialized knowledge in pulmonary hypertension
Critical thinking skills
Sound judgment
Knowledge of biologic, physiological, behavioral and sociological sciences
Strong customer service skills
Strong internal interdisciplinary and external communication skills
Population specific competencies
