About The Position
Newport Health Center is seeking a primary care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant to manage the health and wellness of patients. The role involves collaborative work to provide comprehensive care in western New Hampshire. The provider will practice autonomously and in collaboration with physicians, APRNs, PAs, and other healthcare providers to deliver primary healthcare. Newport Health Center is a Rural Health Clinic with onsite lab and radiology services, and close proximity to New London Hospital and Dartmouth Health.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited APRN academic program
- National specialty certification as FNP, WHNP, PNP, ANP
- Licensed RN with NH eligibility
- Licensed APRN with NH eligibility
- DEA License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years working in a medical office or hospital setting as a nurse practitioner
