CVS Health•Marietta, GA

About The Position

CVS Health’s MinuteClinic is hiring a full-time float provider to support clinics in the Atlanta region. This clinic-based role focuses on delivering high-quality, in-person primary and family care. Virtual visits may be conducted from the clinic when onsite patient volume is lower and virtual care will not delay or interfere with in-person care. Providers practice with clinical, collaborative, and organizational support and evidence-based guidelines and tools. The provider assesses, diagnoses, treats, and manages acute and chronic conditions; performs diagnostic testing and preventive counseling; treats injuries and illnesses; coordinates care; and supports wellness services, chronic disease management, and preventive screenings. The role also includes clinic operations such as inventory management, opening and closing the clinic, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection. Providers support a safe, efficient care environment through routine examinations and timely appointment management. Charting and follow-up are completed during the scheduled shift. Candidates must meet the applicable education, licensing, certification, and clinical requirements for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Associates. Physical presence at the assigned clinic is required, and the provider must be able to obtain and maintain multi-state licensure based on business needs. The role requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching, and the ability to perform Basic Life Support.
