About The Position

Deliver high-quality primary and urgent care in a collaborative clinical environment supporting U.S. government personnel and contractors. This role offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license while working alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced international setting. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited or provisionally accredited Physician Assistant program with current NCCPA certification, or graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current AANP or ANCC certification
  • Current unrestricted U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or District of Columbia licensure, certification, or registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
  • Minimum 5 years of recent clinical experience, including at least 6 months within the last year
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications or equivalent required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
  • U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident Card required
  • Valid U.S. passport with at least 18 months remaining before expiration; must maintain a current passport throughout assignment in Iraq
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government MRPT security clearance; candidates with active clearances preferred
  • Ability to relocate to Iraq for the duration of the project and meet all pre-deployment physical requirements
  • Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods and occasionally bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary, urgent, and preventive care including patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, vaccinations, health education, and wellness counseling
  • Perform directed physical examinations, manage episodic illnesses and injuries, and monitor uncomplicated chronic health conditions
  • Assess and stabilize patients requiring urgent or emergent medical care and coordinate higher-level care or medical evacuation when necessary
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
  • Support daily clinic operations, staff leadership activities, and adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records and participate in required training, compliance activities, and emergency preparedness exercises including mass casualty response drills
  • Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and evidence-based clinical practices across the care environment
