About The Position

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to oversee the Cardiology Stress Lab. This role primarily involves outpatient/ambulatory duties with limited cross-coverage for the cardiac cath lab procedural/inpatient area as needed. The APP will serve as the on-site mid-level contact for stress-testing nursing staff and provide cross-support for cardiac data initiatives. This is a great opportunity for work-life balance, with no weekends or holidays required.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing (Accredited NP Program)
• Less than 2 years of experience
• No supervisor experience
• Nurse Practitioner License
• RN License

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site mid-level contact for stress-testing nursing staff
• Provide cross-support for cardiac data initiatives
• Provide occasional cath lab mid-level duties
• Manages the health care of patient populations with compassion through advanced health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician.
• Coordinates the care of patient populations, in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician, to ensure promotion of health and wellness through education of patients and families, coordination of services and placing referrals.
• Assesses development needs of staff and develops and delivers appropriate educational programs to meet staff needs.
• Develops treatment plans, treats patients with acute problems including illnesses and minor injuries following a predetermined protocol in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician.
• Participates in professional development
