About The Position

Manor Vail Lodge is looking for an experienced Advanced Maintenance Technician to keep its mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems running smoothly across the property and at Golden Peak. This is a hands-on role for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in reliable, well-documented work and enjoys solving problems that keep guests, owners, and team members comfortable.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive HVAC, mechanical, or general maintenance experience, including work on boilers and chillers.
• Has or able to obtain EPA 608 certification
• Has or is able to obtain Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification.
• Valid Colorado driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call for after-hours emergencies.

Nice To Haves

• Construction or building trades experience (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or general contracting) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to maximize reliability and equipment life.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing system issues.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain boilers, chillers, pumps, fan coil units, make-up air units, water heaters, and associated building systems.
• Support mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing equipment at Golden Peak in addition to the Manor Vail Lodge property.
• Complete work orders accurately and on time, documenting labor, materials, and equipment history.
• Identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to support repairs and projects.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as required.
