About The Position

Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) opportunity. This role involves responding to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance, delivering high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients. EMTs assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment. Responsibilities include documenting patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights. The role also requires taking pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients, using appropriate EMT skills for care (communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools), and operating an ambulance in compliance with safety policies and traffic laws. Collaboration with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow EMTs is essential. Additional responsibilities include participating in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
State Driver’s License
National or State AEMT certification
CPR/BLS certifications
Driving record in compliance with company policy
Pass Physical Agility Test
Some work experience, preferably in healthcare

Responsibilities

Assess patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
Provide a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
Operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel and your fellow EMTs.
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
