About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of complex embedded electrical systems and architectures for gaming platforms. This role will be responsible for architecture and circuit design, power regulation systems, digital communication interfaces, and regulatory-compliant system development, driving programs from concept development through New Product Introduction (NPI). The ideal candidate brings technical expertise, strong analytical capability, and demonstrated leadership in taking products from introduction through production release. This position also serves as a mentor to junior engineers and a subject matter expert across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in electrical system design, development, or testing
  • Demonstrated experience taking products from concept through NPI and production release
  • Experience supporting regulatory certification and compliance testing
  • Technical Expertise
  • Deep knowledge of embedded system architecture
  • Strong experience with: High-speed digital design, Power regulation and conversion systems and High-density PCB layout constraints
  • Proficiency with CAD and schematic capture tools (e.g., Altium Designer)
  • Experience with advanced simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS, and related analysis software)
  • Expertise in digital communication interfaces including: RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet and USB
  • Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge
  • Strong working knowledge of: IEC 62368 safety standard, FCC Part 15 and CE EMC requirements and ESD design and immunity standards
  • Experience designing for EMI mitigation, grounding strategies, shielding, filtering, and surge protection
  • Strong analytical and systems-level thinking
  • Technical leadership and architectural ownership

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with manufacturing validation and production support processes
  • Experience with gaming, electronic table games (ETG), or casino hardware systems is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, modeling, and simulation of embedded electrical systems.
  • Develop embedded low to high-density circuit cards and power/signal conversion systems
  • Architect embedded system platforms including power regulation and digital communication subsystems
  • Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance requirements (safety and EMC)
  • Direct technical design reviews and define electrical system requirements
  • Own electrical architecture decisions from concept through production
  • Drive technology to align with new product roadmaps
  • Provide technical oversight during prototype builds, regulatory testing, and production ramp
  • Interface with supplier management for vendor qualification and support on product launch
  • Provide sustainment for existing hardware products
  • Perform advanced electrical analysis using simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS, CAD platforms)
  • Validate signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC performance, and system robustness
  • Design to and ensure compliance with: IEC 62368 safety standards, FCC and CE EMC requirements and ESD immunity and discharge protection standards
  • Support pre-compliance and formal certification testing, including documentation and remediation
  • Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations
  • Troubleshoot complex system-level issues in lab and field environments
  • Diagnose EMI, ESD, grounding, and safety-related issues
  • Implement corrective actions and drive continuous product improvement
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices and design methodology
  • Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, compliance, and quality teams
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for stakeholders and executive leadership
