About The Position

The Advanced IT Business Analyst is a mid-level role and a subject matter expert in organizing and coordinating strategic business analysis services. The position documents business capabilities and business, functional, and technical requirements to address business challenges, partnering with business stakeholders, internal Technology teams, vendors, consultants, and implementers. The role supports enterprise initiatives involving Salesforce, nCino, and other business platforms. Work includes business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, platform administration support, and system enhancements. The ideal candidate has experience in Agile Scrum environments and Salesforce and nCino, preferably in commercial banking or financial services. The position also calls for a collaborative approach and the ability to influence and guide stakeholders.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in financial services, with emphasis on coordinating business, functional, and technical requirements and/or project management across large cross-functional teams, programs, or projects.
At least 2 years of experience working on the Salesforce CRM Platform.
At least 2 years of experience working on the nCino loan origination system.
At least 2 years of experience working with JIRA.
Advanced knowledge of general IT and business operations.
Solid leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
Advanced knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.
Exposure to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people.
Ability to think creatively and see the whole business picture while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to work on multiple projects and programs simultaneously and meet strict deadlines under time pressure.
Ability to create and manage JIRA user stories throughout the SDLC using Agile methodology.

Nice To Haves

Salesforce Administrator Certification.
Experience within commercial banking or financial services environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements for initiatives, enhancements, and strategic projects.
Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and aligned with business objectives.
Create, refine, and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and JIRA backlog items, partnering with development teams throughout the SDLC.
Support Salesforce and nCino initiatives through business process analysis, requirements gathering, and assistance with platform administration, workflows, and system enhancements.
Participate in Agile delivery teams, facilitate requirements discussions and sprint activities, and support cross-functional collaboration.
Ensure compliance with Enterprise PMO governance standards, project documentation requirements, and delivery methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on implementation, testing, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.
