About The Position
The Advanced Practice Practitioner performs clinical, technical and patient-related functions, this individual must have excellent technical, interpersonal and customer service skills, be aware and responsive to the psychosocial needs of patients and their families. You would be a part of a 5-member primary care clinic comprised of Family Medicine.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited advanced nurse practitioner program.
- Master’s Degree required.
- Minimum of one-year primary care experience.
- Laceration experience.
- Women's Health experience.
- Current licensure in the State of Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse.
- Current certification from a national certifying body approved by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing for Nurse Practitioners required, or graduate of an AAPA accredited program.
- Current certification as an advanced prescriber.
- Valid Wisconsin’s Driver’s license.
- Current CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Geriatrics experience preferred.
- PALS and ACLS certification strongly encouraged.
