About The Position

Summit Health is seeking Behavioral Health Therapists, interested in High Level Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Training, to join the New Jersey team! The Behavioral Health & Cognitive Therapy Center at Summit Health employs high level Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to treat a wide variety of patient conditions including depression, anxiety, panic, OCD, health anxiety and more. We offer intensive clinical supervision and education to help our clinicians become certified in CBT within their first year. We provide both virtual and in-person treatment with a flexible work schedule that includes working from both home and the office.

Requirements

• PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LPC (Must already be licensed in the state of New Jersey)
• Caseload experience: Adult
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatments for common mental disorders.
• Familiarity with brief, structured intervention techniques (e.g. Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation).
• Master’s or Doctoral Degree.
• New Jersey State Licensure in Social Work, Professional Counseling or Psychology required (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LCSW-R, LPC).
• 3-years experience working within an outpatient setting working with child/adolescents or adult 18yrs of age and older.
• Familiarity working within a medical setting.

Nice To Haves

• Interested in High Level Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Training.
• Experience working with patients who have co-occurring mental health and physical health problems preferred.
• Knowledge of community resources required.

Responsibilities

• Treat a wide variety of patient conditions including depression, anxiety, panic, OCD, health anxiety and more using high level Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
• Engage in ongoing training and consistently strive to improve clinical skills.
• Partner with fellow clinicians, psychiatrists, and physicians to improve the lives of patients.
• Participate in weekly supervision with a senior certified CBT therapist.
• Attend weekly case conferences.
• Engage in training to meet certification of the Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
• Maintain a collaborative working relationship with referring physicians and specialists.
• Engage in dept and companywide projects.
• Provide both virtual and in-person treatment.
