This full-time Behavioral Health Clinician position is responsible for meeting patient care needs by collaborating with guardians and community agencies. The role involves assessing patients' problems, needs, and level of functioning, and writing appropriate treatment plans based on diagnosis, age, and clinical presentation. The clinician will provide various treatment modalities and theoretical applications, assisting individuals, groups, and families through the counseling relationship. This includes evaluating and treating mental disorders using psychotherapeutic techniques and human development principles, establishing and conducting appropriate interventions, and writing discharge plans. The position also requires providing patient care according to established policies, designing and implementing patient education, developing and evaluating patient care, and accurately documenting patient care in the medical record. Additionally, the role involves presenting cases in clinical team meetings and coordinating discharge planning with the next provider.
