About The Position

Summit Health is seeking Behavioral Health Therapists, interested in High Level Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Training, to join the New Jersey team! This is a Full Time - Benefit Eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Friday, with a hybrid work model (2 days onsite, 3 days remote). One of the onsite days will be an evening shift, 12pm - 8pm. This role offers an environment that fosters ongoing training, aims to improve clinical skills, and provides opportunities to become highly competent in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The position involves a collegial work environment, partnering with fellow clinicians, psychiatrists, and physicians to improve patient lives. At Summit Health’s Behavioral Health & Cognitive Therapy Center, high level Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is employed to treat a wide variety of patient conditions including depression, anxiety, panic, OCD, health anxiety and more. The center offers intensive clinical supervision and education to help clinicians become certified in CBT within their first year. Both virtual and in-person treatment are provided with a flexible work schedule that includes working from both home and the office.

Requirements

PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LPC (Must already be licensed in the state of New Jersey)
Caseload experience: Adult
Master’s or Doctoral Degree.
New Jersey State Licensure in Social Work, Professional Counseling or Psychology required (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LCSW-R, LPC).
3-years experience working within an outpatient setting working with child/adolescents or adult 18yrs of age and older.
Familiarity working within a medical setting.
Knowledge of evidence-based treatments for common mental disorders.
Familiarity with brief, structured intervention techniques (e.g. Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation).
Knowledge of community resources.

Nice To Haves

Interested in High Level Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Training.
Desire to become skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Experience working with patients who have co-occurring mental health and physical health problems preferred.

Responsibilities

Treat a wide variety of patient conditions including depression, anxiety, panic, OCD, health anxiety and more using high level Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Provide both virtual and in-person treatment.
Engage in weekly case conferences.
Collaborate with referring physicians and specialists.
Engage in dept and companywide projects.
