About The Position

The Adult Basketball League Officials are responsible for officiating adult basketball games and will report to the Recreation Supervisor. This is a seasonal position. Candidates must be available on Monday evenings from November 16 through January 25. The pay rate is $30 per game for uncertified officials and $35 per game for certified officials, with 3-4 games scheduled each evening. This position will remain open until filled.

Requirements

Must be 16.

Responsibilities

Interpret and enforce all basketball rules and adaptations
Supervise and control conduct on court
Provide quality customer service
Be ready to work at scheduled times
Dress and act in a manner that is professional
Follow all policies and procedures set forth by the City of Stoughton Parks & Recreation Department.
Examine court and equipment to ensure safety.
Fill out own timesheet accurately and turn into supervisor before leaving.
Cooperatively work in a team with other officials and supervisor.
Attend all game dates.
Communicate with Recreation Supervisor in a timely manner regarding inability to make scheduled games.
Be able to attend all necessary training's
