About The Position

Enthusiast Auto Holdings (EAH) is a successful e-commerce company in the automotive aftermarket parts industry, operating ten enthusiast-focused websites. EAH serves automotive enthusiasts and specialty installer shops, providing parts, content, knowledge, and support. The company is owned by Cortec Group, a private equity firm that has invested significantly in expanding EAH's operations, facilities, technology, and leadership. EAH is currently implementing enterprise-level ERP/WMS/OMS systems. Reporting to the CTO, EAH is seeking an experienced Adobe Commerce Cloud Developer to join their in-house development team in Wadsworth, Ohio. This is a fully onsite position supporting and enhancing two active Adobe Commerce production stores. The role involves balancing new feature development with production support in a fast-paced eCommerce environment, working closely with business stakeholders, IT, marketing, and third-party vendors to deliver reliable, scalable solutions while maintaining high system performance and customer experience.

Requirements

3+ years of professional Adobe Commerce development experience.
Strong experience with PHP 8+
Strong experience with Adobe Commerce / Magento 2 architecture
Strong experience with MySQL
Strong experience with JavaScript
Strong experience with HTML5
Strong experience with CSS3
Strong experience with XML
Experience developing custom modules, plugins, observers, and API integrations.
Experience working with Git source control.
Experience with REST APIs.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment.

Adobe Commerce Developer certification.
Experience with Composer
Experience with Varnish
Experience with Linux

Experience integrating ERP systems.
Familiarity with payment gateways such as Braintree, or PayPal.

Responsibilities

Develop new features and enhancements for two Adobe Commerce production websites.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and support both Adobe Commerce sites.
Diagnose and resolve production issues quickly while minimizing business impact.
Design and implement custom Adobe Commerce modules and integrations.
Customize frontend functionality using modern Adobe Commerce best practices.
Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems such as ERP, payment gateways, shipping providers, tax engines, and marketing platforms.
Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
Create technical documentation for custom development and system architecture.
Work with internal business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Coordinate deployments with our project office and support release management processes.
Stay current with Adobe Commerce updates, security patches, and industry best practices.
