About The Position

The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Starting with Valley Hospital Medical Center in 1979, the Valley Health System has grown to include Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center , Henderson Hospital, Valley Health Specialty Hospital. and our newest location West Henderson Hospital. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of two years hands on experience in a hospital registration setting or Urgent Care preferred.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved in patient admission.
  • Computer proficiency includes word processing and patient accounting system.
  • HIPPA and PCI Compliance required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient.
  • Some positions may require accurate interpretation and translation in bilingual targeted language.

  • Insurance knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for greeting and registering all incoming patients and their representatives: ensuring necessary information required for admission is accurately recorded and processed while maintaining confidentiality within HIPPA guidelines.
  • Plays a pivotal role in the operational efficiency of healthcare services delivery.
  • This position requires individuals who are detailed oriented, adaptable and equipped with the necessary experience and skills to handle the demands of the dynamic healthcare environment.
