Nexus Family Recovery Center is a Dallas-based nonprofit dedicated to helping women and families heal from substance use disorder. We provide a comprehensive continuum of care, from detox through residential and outpatient treatment, rooted in trauma-informed, evidence-based practice and a deep belief that recovery is possible for everyone we serve.   • High school diploma or general education diploma required.

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; or six months to one-year related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Admissions team with incoming clients by providing clients with appropriate paperwork and helping to get clients into Admissions in an efficient, compassionate manner.
  • Enters all new admits into the Intellium system and logs their initial urine drug screen.
  • Assist admission counselors by helping with property search
  • Conduct client UA’s and help them change into scrubs.
  • Maintain an adequate number of all printed documents used in the admission department.
  • Assist with the management of the referral list in CMBHS
  • Assist with managing the waitlist in CMBHS
  • Learns and adheres to all confidentiality rules relating to clients, client information, financial information, and other private information.
  • Ensures services delivered as in line with the Nexus Mission and Values
  • Other duties within the organization as assigned.
