Admission Nurse Liaison
About The Position
The Admissions Nurse Liaison plays a vital role in shaping the first step of a resident's journey. This position is ideal for LPNs or RNs looking to leverage their clinical expertise in a fast-paced, influential role, while still remaining open to highly organized, detail-driven professionals without a nursing background. If you understand clinical appropriateness, can think critically under pressure, and enjoy coordinating care from the very beginning, this role allows you to make a meaningful difference without direct bedside care. This role involves applying clinical knowledge to assess admission appropriateness, communicating effectively with care teams, collaborating with nursing leadership, physicians, hospitals, and referral sources, and using critical thinking skills to support safe, timely, and compliant admissions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that values accuracy, organization, and strong communication.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume admissions process with confidence and professionalism
- Review and evaluate potential residents for clinical and financial eligibility
- Coordinate admission details from inquiry through arrival, ensuring a World Class experience
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, hospitals, and interdisciplinary teams
- Verify insurance, benefits, and required documentation
- Organize timelines, clinical information, and paperwork with exceptional attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and documentation requirements
- Participate in ongoing training, education, and occasional out-of-town sessions
