About The Position

Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to visitors and supporting the operation of recreational programs. This position is an essential service position and will require providing services during emergency situations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Valid Texas Driver's License.
Knowledge of basic marketing and graphic design concepts.
Skills in strong multitasking and organization.
Skills in verbal and written communication.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Ability to handle basic math and cash transactions.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, providing information on programs, events, and facility amenities.
Process registrations, memberships, and payments accurately and efficiently.
Manage phone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate department or staff member.
Maintain organized and up-to-date participant records and registration databases.
Assist in coordinating schedules for facility rentals, classes, and program activities.
Handle cash transactions, maintain petty cash, and reconcile daily financial reports.
Prepare and distribute promotional materials for recreation programs and events.
Work with staff to ensure the proper operation of the recreation center.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Support the planning and execution of special events and activities held at the recreation center.
Other duties as assigned
Provide services during emergency situations.
