About The Position

This position provides essential administrative and clerical support at the Richland Community Center while playing an active role in customer service at the front desk. Recreation Aides are often the first point of contact, providing friendly, helpful assistance to guests in person and over the phone. Responsibilities include supporting class registrations, reserving park shelters, booking facility spaces, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. This role also assists with setting up and resetting rooms and furniture for programs, events, and rentals, helping keep operations running smoothly. This position offers a dynamic mix of office and hands-on work supporting community activities, with a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
  • Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work or volunteer experience in a customer service role.
  • Valid food handlers permit.
  • Working knowledge or higher of Microsoft Office Applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.
  • Current First Aide/CPR/AED card.
