About The Position

Berkeley College, a career-focused institution of higher education, with locations in NY, NJ and Online, is seeking full-time Admission Associates to work on-site at our New York City, NY campus. Admissions Associates guide and help prospective students throughout the enrollment process. Additional responsibilities include recruiting and interviewing prospects, providing campus tours, community outreach, and extensive phone work.

Requirements

  • Must have previous customer service experience along with the ability to work in high performance standard, driven and team-oriented environment.
  • Must have extensive follow up skills and the ability to multitask and meet all deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse student populations.
  • Strong communication, phone and computer skills are required along with the ability to work inside and outside during seasonal times.
  • Proficient in using databases, Microsoft Office, and Google products.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Office 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Salesforce, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, and LinkedIn are helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Create awareness to potential students.
  • Tour and interview prospective students.
  • Initialize and follow-up on students’ financial aid process.
  • Schedule entrance exam, financial aid planning sessions, registration and orientation.
  • Responsible for student document procurement.
  • Develop relationships with High Schools, College and community personnel
  • Manage and update student records.
  • Responsible for proper reporting on outreach efforts.
  • Responsible for attending team meetings.
  • Receptive to continuous training in product knowledge and to ensure the dissemination of updated and accurate information.
