About The Position
Oak River Rehab, a trusted and compassionate skilled nursing facility in Anderson, CA, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Admissions Assistant to join our team. If you’re passionate about helping others and enjoy a dynamic, team-based environment, we’d love to hear from you! As an Admissions Assistant, you will play a vital role in welcoming new residents and supporting the admissions process from start to finish. You’ll work closely with our nursing, administrative, and social services teams to ensure a smooth transition for residents and their families.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous admissions, administrative, or healthcare experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate and professional demeanor
- Proficient in basic computer use and documentation
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and process new resident admissions
- Communicate with hospitals, families, and referral sources
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Provide support and information to residents and families during the intake process
- Assist with tours and general inquiries
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support residents’ needs
