About The Position

The Marketing Administrator works closely with the Director of Marketing/Business Development, Office Administrator, and Mall Manager to develop and implement mall marketing programs, carry out community-based programs, and support retailer and community relations. The role also provides administrative support for marketing activities and helps coordinate promotions, events, sponsorships, and platform programs.

Requirements

• College degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of administrative office experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and bookkeeping software.
• Effective verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Effective customer service skills when interacting with customers, tenants, and coworkers.
• Flexible, with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Creative and capable of using imagination to develop new and original ideas in an artistic context.

• Active involvement with promotion, event, and special occasion coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, coordination, collection, production, supervision, and follow-up of promotions and events.
• Maintain the mall website, social media communications, and collateral materials.
• Work with tenants to obtain sales reports and enter them into the reporting system.
• Assist with preparing contracts and purchase orders.
• Assist with SYF and Family at Simon programs when necessary.
• Assist the Office Administrator as needed.
• Support administrative elements and approvals for sponsorship and event deals, including contracting, deal entry, proof of performance, payment collection, contract renewal, revenue forecasting, and reporting.
• Assist with the timely and professional promotion and implementation of platform programs and measure results.
