About The Position

The Marketing Administrator works closely with the Director of Marketing/Business Development, Office Administrator, and Mall Manager to develop and implement mall marketing programs, execute community-based programs, and support retailer and community relations. The role assists with promotions and events, maintains mall communications and materials, supports sales reporting and administrative processes, and helps manage sponsorship and event deals.

Requirements

• One to three years of administrative office experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and bookkeeping software.
• Effective verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Effective customer service skills when interacting with customers, tenants, and co-workers.
• Flexibility and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Creativity and the ability to use imagination to develop new and original ideas in an artistic context.

Nice To Haves

• College degree preferred.
• Active involvement with promotion, event, and special occasion coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, coordination, collection, production, supervision, and follow-up of promotions and events.
• Maintain the mall website, social media communications, and collateral material.
• Work with tenants to obtain sales reports and collect and enter information into the reporting system.
• Assist with preparing contracts and purchase orders.
• Assist with SYF and Family at Simon programs when necessary.
• Assist the Office Administrator as needed.
• Support administrative elements and approvals of sponsorship and event deals, including contracting, deal entry, proof of performance, payment collection, contract renewal, revenue forecasting, and reporting.
• Assist with the promotion and implementation of platform programs in a professional and timely manner and measure results.
