About The Position

Holman is a global automotive services organization committed to its core values. The Administrator - Licensing & Compliance role involves processing vehicle licensing requirements by working directly with State Division of Motor Vehicles and Licensing Agencies. This position ensures the accurate and efficient completion of state licensing documents for various vehicle types and works with clients to ensure proper licensing and adherence to best practices. The role also involves responding to inquiries, processing licensing through internal systems and third-party vendors, researching and communicating changes in state laws, and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for licensing procedures in various states. Additionally, the administrator will compile data, prepare documents, assist with training, maintain data integrity, troubleshoot licensing delays, and ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
  • Familiarity with office technology and equipment, including computers, fax machines, scanners, printers, phone systems, etc.
  • 1 year experience in administrative services or related fields

Nice To Haves

  • Additional education, certifications, or experience are a plus
  • Knowledge of DMV regulations helpful; but not necessary

Responsibilities

  • Works directly with State Division of Motor Vehicles and Licensing Agencies in the processing of client’s vehicle licensing requirements.
  • Completes state licensing documents efficiently and accurately for cars, trucks, and specialized equipment.
  • Works with internal and external clients to ensure proper licensing of customer vehicles, as well as make recommendations on best practices.
  • Responds to license related inquires via multiple platforms.
  • Processes licensing work, through our internal online systems, through working directly with State Division of Motor Vehicle, and through working with a third party licensing vendor.
  • Researches and communicates changes in state laws and requirements.
  • Subject Matter Expert in various States on licensing procedures.
  • Conducts research, compiles data, and prepares documents for cross-departmental processes.
  • Assist with training new and existing employees and assists co-workers with questions.
  • Maintains and ensures data integrity of vehicle information.
  • Works closely with Licensing Analyst on client specific parameters.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting licensing delays and working through alternative solutions.
  • Works with clients to ensure all of the required state documentation and inspections are included with licensing paperwork.
  • Proactive follow up on licensing to ensure deadlines are being met.
  • Ensure we are providing Raving Fans Customer Service to both internal and external clients.
  • Prompt and thorough response to inquiries.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
