About The Position

Champion Care’s Administrator in Training (AIT) Executive Leadership Development Program prepares emerging leaders to operate and lead a skilled nursing facility. Participants learn business and financial operations, workforce management, executive leadership, healthcare operations, and growth strategy while training alongside experienced Nursing Home Administrators and operational leaders. This is a full-time, multi-facility field development position in the Mobile Bay region, with regular travel among facilities serving Mobile, Fairhope, and Grand Bay, including Camellia, Altera, and Greenway. After licensure, candidates must be willing to relocate anywhere in Alabama to be considered for an available permanent Nursing Home Administrator opportunity. Advancement requires successful training, licensure, selection, and an available opening; no particular placement or compensation level is guaranteed. The AIT salary is $70,000 annually. Most permanent Nursing Home Administrator opportunities start at $100,000 or more annually, depending on location, facility size, and responsibilities. Licensed NHAs leading their own skilled nursing facility may be eligible for Champion Care’s profit-sharing program, subject to applicable terms; AIT participants are not eligible. Applicants must be eligible for the Alabama Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators-approved training and licensure pathway. The educational preferences in the posting do not replace state licensing requirements.
