Join Our Team in the Prepared Foods Division as an Administrator Accounting. As the go-to person for time and attendance, you will work with all levels of the plant management team. This is a multi-tasking environment where your attention to detail can really shine and make a difference. Cross-training will be done in areas assigned by the Controller to include daily production posting and line efficiency analysis. Hours of work will be determined by the workload necessary on different days of the accounting period. SUMMARY: This facility is part of our Prepared Foods business unit. This position’s main functions are time and attendance support. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing time and attendance functions efficiently while also providing accounting support to the Plant Controller. Additionally, you may oversee employee supply processes and assist in various plant management tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of office administration experience required; with 1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Requires advanced computer skills including using a Tyson Business Computer System as well as Microsoft Office & Excel, SAP Preferred.
  • Requires written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, and coordinating with others.
  • Assignments are defined and the approach to be taken is usually determined in coordination with others.
  • Must reside in the United States to be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate degree in accounting or relevant field is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist plant supervision with daily and weekly attendance.
  • Monitor plant attendance in SAP/UKG Pro, ensuring adherence to corporate policies.
  • Provide training to new supervisors on attendance processes as necessary.
  • Address Team Members' attendance questions and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Complete AskHR/Box Office tickets as required.
  • Assist in self-audits of critical processes as determined by corporate accounting.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks such as records retention and supporting HR with plant activities.
  • Manage employee supply processes, including inventory and ordering of office supplies, and employee sales.
  • Undertake other duties and projects as assigned.
