About The Position

Provides on-site leadership, resources, and direction to hospital employees and leaders. Liaises with the Administrator On Call (AOC) to manage organization-wide planned or unexpected events. Supports the organization's mission, vision, and values in meeting operational goals. This position requires flexibility of hours.

The position is per diem, part time, and has a 12-hour night shift at 100 W California Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105. The estimated base rate is $68.12–$91.57 per hour. Additional compensation may be available through differentials, extra-shift incentives, bonuses, and other premiums. For each shift, the first 8 hours are paid at the base rate, hours 8–12 at 1.5 times the rate, and hours beyond 12 at double time. The estimated blended hourly rate for a 12-hour shift is $79.47–$106.83. A comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. RNs hired before 10/1/19 are exempt from the BSN requirement if transferring within the department.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required.
• Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Excellent critical reasoning, time management, delegation, verbal and written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate-to-advanced MS Office computer skills required.
• Flexibility of hours required.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience preferred; clinical experience in a lead position is acceptable in lieu of management experience.
