The Office of the Secretary of State is a constitutional office within the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Secretary of State serves as the Commonwealth’s Chief Election Officer, Chief Business Official, and Chief Advocate for Civic Engagement. There are three offices within the department: Office of Administration, Office of Business and Office of Elections. This position is within the Office of Administration. The Administrative Specialist primary role is to provide professional support in the review, evaluation, development, and implementation of the Office of the Secretary of State’s activities. This position is responsible for handling all inquiries related to business services for the Commonwealth of Kentucky to include, Corporate Filings, Corporate Record, Uniform Commercial Code, Trademarks, Notaries, Apostilles, and Summons regarding knowledge of statutes, regulations, and policies and procedures.
