About The Position

The Kentucky River Authority (KRA) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist Senior to provide professional administrative and clerical support to agency leadership and staff. This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient office operations and advancing the agency’s mission of serving the citizens of the Kentucky River Basin. As an Administrative Specialist Senior with the Kentucky River Authority in Frankfort, you will provide high-level administrative support that helps ensure the effective operation of the agency.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
  • Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to agency management and staff.
  • Answers and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate event logistics.
  • Prepare correspondence, agendas, meeting minutes, and other documents.
  • Maintain agency records and files in accordance with established procedures.
  • Order and manage office supplies and equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
