About The Position

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is seeking an Administrative Specialist to perform administrative tasks to support the Design Gallery department. This role involves handling complex issues, referring more complex issues to lead or manager, and following established procedures and processes. The goal is to build brand loyalty by assisting customers and contributing to the department's success.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 3 years office/administrative experience required
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately
• Basic computer skills plus knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• 2 years customer service preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete various projects in a timely manner, while working with management to maintain departmental policies and procedures
• Create purchase orders and invoices for review and approval
• Interact and maintain relationships with vendor contacts
• Support the Design Gallery Department by performing a variety of tasks related to the Design Gallery, acting as the point of contact for the team
• Work with management to maintain departmental policies, procedures, training materials, and communications
