About The Position

This Rehabilitation Casework Technician position is located in the Forest City EIPD Unit Office in Rutherford County. The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support and casework assistance for Rehabilitation Counselors serving the general/physical and school caseloads.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Interviewing consumers and gathering diagnostic reports to assist counselors with determining eligibility and required services
  • Assisting with developing written plans of services in conjunction with the consumer, parent and/or guardian
  • Documenting casework data and the provision of substantial services throughout the rehabilitation process in the case management system
  • Monitoring the consumer's progress throughout the service delivery process
  • Preparing documents, filing, scheduling, inputting casework data, including invoices, billing documents, and correspondence to support consumer services
  • Working with community employers/partners to assist in directly placing highly qualified consumers in appropriate jobs leading to successful employment outcomes
  • Providing other support as designated by the counselor and completing all related administrative tasks
