Administrative Specialist 2 performs highly difficult, complex, and responsible office work, including handling monetary transactions in various departments. Typical duties may include accepting receipts, fees, and payments from customers; issuing receipts and entering transactions and supporting data into the cash register; distributing and reviewing assignments of subordinates; maintaining statistics relative to work received and completed; entering court orders, judgments, and proceedings into the Court Case Management System; performing cashier duties such as handling money, assisting customers, reconciling registers, and preparing deposits; reviewing documents from customers for accuracy and completeness; notarizing Sheriff’s Deeds and proofs of service; assisting with preparing the auction; filing, typing, and recording information; answering telephones; inventory; and other duties as assigned.
