About The Position

The Administrative Secretary provides front office and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff. This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with basic office equipment and computer applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors by greeting them in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls promptly and respond to inquiries efficiently.
  • Assist patients with appointment scheduling, forms, and general administrative needs.
  • Perform clerical and administrative duties including data entry, filing, document preparation, and office support projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • Support the healthcare team with additional administrative tasks as assigned.
