About The Position

The City of Midwest City is currently accepting applications for Administrative Secretary/Wellness Coordinator in the City Manager's Office. The incumbent performs administrative and secretarial duties for the CMO department in the management and maintenance of projects and paperwork in various areas. Assists in the administration of the City's benefits and wellness programs. Coordinates benefits and wellness activities and communications. Has regular access to and maintains confidentiality with a wide variety of privileged information.

Requirements

  • Intermediate Spreadsheet software skills
  • Intermediate Word Processing/Typing software skills
  • Basic 10-Key software skills
  • Basic Accounting software skills
  • Basic Alphanumeric Data Entry software skills
  • Basic Human Resources Systems software skills
  • Basic Payroll Systems software skills
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Must pass data entry test
  • Must pass clerical test
  • Must pass Word test
  • Must pass Excel test

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in insurance-related field
  • Prior experience working directly with the public
  • Legal experience or training
