About The Position

Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) is seeking a full-time Administrative Receptionist for its McKenna Crossing team in Prior Lake, MN. This role is crucial in providing excellent customer service and public relations, ensuring quality care and services for all customers. The position involves managing incoming calls, serving as an information resource, and handling administrative tasks related to resident billing, including entering charges, running statements, mailing statements, receiving payments, applying cash, and preparing bank deposits. The Administrative Receptionist reports to the Campus Administrator and may take direction from Marketing, Resident Services Director, and other departments. PHS is a faith-based organization dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults within a caring Christian environment, offering opportunities for growth and a supportive team atmosphere.

Requirements

  • High school graduate preferred.
  • Twelve months of work experience as a receptionist or in other office clerical/administration roles is desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with various office equipment such as copy machines, multi-line phones, postage meter, fax machines, etc.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency and experience in various programs including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Publisher, and Word is desired.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Nice To Haves

  • Bookkeeping/accounting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service and public relations for quality care and services to all customers.
  • Answering and transferring all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Serving as an information resource.
  • Entering ancillary resident charges into the electronic resident billing system.
  • Running monthly statements.
  • Mailing statements to residents.
  • Receiving payments, applying cash in the billing system, and preparing bank deposits.
  • Performing a variety of administrative duties as assigned.
