About The Position

At Louisiana State Police, our mission is to promote health and wellness by delivering compassionate and high-quality health services. We provide behavioral health support and counseling services to individuals and families across Louisiana, working every day to improve lives and strengthen communities. We’re looking for an Administrative Program Specialist A to serve as the first point of contact at the agency, creating a welcoming environment for clients, patients, and visitors and providing administrative support that keeps our front office running smoothly. Requirements

  • Three years of experience in administrative services; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR A bachelor's degree.
  • Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Responsibilities

  • Purchase Supplies
  • Work in MARK43 and LAGov
  • Fleet Operations Movable Property
  • Coordinate and update appointments using our scheduling system to keep things running smoothly
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area to ensure a welcoming environment
  • Support the clinic team with everyday office tasks like data entry, filing, mail distribution, and general administrative support
