About The Position

Applies organization policies and procedures to oversee a variety of ongoing administrative operational issues. Administers defined operational program. Analyzes and resolves operational problems of moderate scope. Reporting to the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences HR & Academic Affairs Unit Manager, the HR Analyst conducts/facilitates departmental HR efforts. The HR Analyst is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, administering, and coordinating departmental academic and staff recruitments, appointments, onboarding, advancement, and off boarding processes for the volunteer, affiliate and UC Affiliate populations. These duties are performed in close collaboration with central Human Resources for both staff and academics. The HR Analyst uses advanced skills and knowledge of UC systemwide and/or organizational HR policies and programs to address strategic personnel issues and to resolve complex issues and situations.
