About The Position

The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients, families, and significant others, providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to impact patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in the practice of Nursing. The RN uses the nursing process and evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department's scope of service. The RN serves as a guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader, and sentry, and collaborates with and guides care delivered by the inter-professional team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics, and applicable regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Valid Ohio RN license required at the time of hire.
• AHA BLS certification required at the time of hire.
• Minimum 3 years of acute care hospital RN experience.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Ability to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
