About The Position

This is an internal position for current MDE employees. The Integrated Operations Manager serves as the strategic lead for the Maryland Department of the Environment’s central logistics and information hub. This role synchronizes physical asset management with digital workflow modernization. The incumbent provides comprehensive oversight of the Mailroom, Warehouse, Receiving, and Supply Store operations, ensuring seamless, cost-effective, and audit-compliant movement of information and physical materials. The Administrative Officer II will lead the department’s transition to digital document workflows and implement data-driven inventory controls. The incumbent will ensure operational continuity for a workforce of more than 950 employees while maintaining the physical integrity and digital accuracy of all agency resources.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
  • Two years of administrative staff or professional work.
  • Possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
  • Maintain a driver's license with no more than 5 points on their driving record.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States under the Immigration and Reform Control Act of 1986.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the strategic lead for the Maryland Department of the Environment’s central logistics and information hub.

  • Operate a State vehicle.
