Requirements

  • Six years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work in a public or private organization, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, and procurement
  • Graduation from a four year college or university, or Any equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Meet the PA residency requirement
  • Be able to perform essential job functions

  • Telework opportunity available part-time after six months probation (two days a week, supervisor approved)
  • Ability to work from home requires a securely configured high-speed internet connection and an approved location inside Pennsylvania
  • Option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh if unable to telework

Responsibilities

  • Lead competitive procurement processes and coordinate evaluation activities
  • Create and refine countywide policies and procedures to support DHS operations
  • Collaborate with program offices and provider agencies to improve service access and quality
  • Serve as primary contact for providers and support clear communication on solicitation activities
  • Manage staff assignments, review work quality, and oversee performance and scheduling
  • Ensure policies align with laws, regulations, and DHS standards while supporting training efforts
