About The Position

Wayne County is seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional for a full-time Administrative Officer 1 position within the Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disabilities Program. This position supports and oversees administrative operations while working with a dedicated team committed to providing quality services. Requirements

  • Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Able to perform essential job functions.
  • Pass a background investigation.
  • Pass a drug screening (conditional offer of employment).
  • Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance (conditional offer of employment).

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze incident management data and ensure proper procedures are followed
  • Create and review provider risk screening reports and service authorization data from multiple sources
  • Read policies and guidelines and apply directives to ensure accurate compliance
  • Work with outside organizations to support quality and adherence to program requirements
  • Maintain participant records, track documents, and submit information for waiver enrollment
  • Monitor timelines, authorizations, and required documentation for multiple program functions
