Administrative Intern
About The Position
Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a motivated Administrative Intern to join our team in Illinois and Missouri. Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, this intern will work under the direction of the Administrative Services leadership team to support the development of web applications that support the work of the administrative team, as well as data reporting tools and infrastructure to support administrative efforts. Chestnut Health Systems™ is a leading provider of integrated health care services. Since 1973, Chestnut has grown to more than 800 committed, compassionate employees providing substance use, mental health, and primary care treatment to patients in Illinois and Missouri. We provide fully integrated care for all our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers. Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a bachelor’s program.
- Strong interest in web application development and administrative leadership.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a professional healthcare and human services environment.
- Proficiency in standard office software and a willingness to learn internal recruitment and development tools.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Administrative Services leadership team on the identification of administrative work areas where web-based app technology will support organizational efficiency
- Develop and enhance web application(s) that further administrative efficiency efforts
- Assist in education and support of administrative leadership in use of developed applications, as well as development of any training materials related to application
- Support development and enhancement of analytics related to administrative services
