About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring two experienced Administrative / Float Caregivers to provide care and client coverage throughout the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area and surrounding communities. The role is intended for caregivers who enjoy varied assignments and can adapt to changing client-care and staffing needs. Candidates must travel throughout the service area, which includes Scottsdale/Phoenix, Mesa/East Valley, and the West Valley, and be available on call. The positions offer a designated four-day weekly schedule and 60 guaranteed hours per biweekly pay period. Healthcare benefits are available.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional caregiving experience with seniors.
Extensive hands-on experience with higher-level mobility and personal care needs.
Proficiency with Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand lifts, gait belts, and various types of transfers.
Experience providing care for bedbound clients, including repositioning and assistance with daily activities.
Dementia and Alzheimer's care experience.
Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance.
Flexibility to be on call and travel throughout the Valley.
Compassionate, dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

Provide care and client coverage throughout the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area and surrounding communities.
Provide hands-on personal and mobility care, including care for bedbound clients, repositioning, and assistance with daily activities.
Assist with transfers using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Respond flexibly to changing client-care and staffing needs, including on-call coverage.
Travel between client assignments across the Valley-wide service area.
