Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
One (1) year front or back office secretarial experience or equivalent
AHA BLS within 30 days

Responsibilities

Integral to the smooth operation of our Perioperative department, ensuring data continuity for surgical services, managing charge verifications, and overseeing supply reconciliation for the Operating Room.
Manage multi-line phone systems.
Facilitate the daily surgery schedule.
Directly support providers.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate data entry and patient billing.
Prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Communicate critical information clearly.
Act as a central communication point.
Works collaboratively to expedite data entry of implants and specialty supplies.
Ensures all case charges are posted within 3 day window.
Answers pages for staff as needed.
Takes messages and ensures delivery of messages.
Covers the main Operating Room phone line.
Supports the OR Charge Nurse.
