We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact in our outpatient behavioral health clinic in Bogalusa, LA. An ideal candidate will create and maintain a welcoming environment for clients and visitors and provide administrative support that keeps our front office running smoothly. Requirements

  • Two years of experience in administrative services.
  • Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Answering multi-line telephones and routing phone calls to the appropriate staff or taking detailed messages
  • Greeting clients
  • Notifying staff of client arrivals
  • Conducting check-in and check-out procedures for clients
  • Verifying insurance coverage
  • Contacting clients with appointment reminders
  • Processing faxes received
  • Entering information into an electronic health record (EHR)
  • Maintain a supply of the necessary packets for both clients with scheduled appointments and walk-ins.
